Check-in and scanning
Use the web scanner at your event to validate QR tickets.
The scanner is built into the organiser dashboard — no separate app to install. Open /admin/{your-slug}/scan on any phone, tablet, or laptop with a camera and an internet connection.
Modes
The scanner has two modes:
- Camera — point the camera at a QR code; it scans as soon as it's in frame
- Lookup — type an attendee's name or order ID to find and check them in manually
Switch between them with the tabs at the top of the scanner.
Scan results
Every scan returns one of three outcomes:
| Outcome | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Accepted | Valid ticket, checked in successfully |
| Replay | Duplicate — this ticket has already been scanned |
| Rejected | Wrong event, refunded, or transferred away |
Lookup mode
When someone's phone is dead or their QR is damaged, use Lookup. Search by:
- Attendee name (partial match works)
- Order ID
You'll see the ticket owner, event, tier, seat (if any), and current status. Tap Check in to mark them as arrived.
Multiple scanning devices
Multiple staff can scan simultaneously at different doors — each device sees the same live check-in state. A ticket scanned at one door shows as Replay everywhere else.
